Student Classes & Projects: Wrongful Conviction Project

Wrongful Conviction Project

Use the resources on this page to find the information you need for your project.

Tips for Searching the Databases:

  • Search the exonerated person's full name in quotations AND the crime for which they were convicted. For example:
    • "Jane Doe" and murder
    • "John Doe" and larceny
  • Results will be sorted by "relevance". Depending on the date of exoneration, sorting them by "newest" will be beneficial.
  • Filtering by Publication Date, for the year of the exoneration, will be helpful.
